Atlas is a browser-based tool for separated parents. These terms are short on purpose. Read through before you use the tool.

What Atlas is

Atlas is a private dashboard that runs entirely in your web browser. It is provided by Johnnie Crawford as a personal project. There is no account, no login, no subscription, and no payment. Anyone can use it.

Your data

All data you enter — budgets, goals, kids week details, child support figures, anything — is stored locally in your own browser. It never leaves your device. There is no server reading your numbers, no analytics tracking your inputs, no third party receiving your information.

If you clear your browser data, switch devices, or use a private window, the information will not follow you. Atlas does not back up or sync your data. That is by design.

What Atlas is not

Atlas is not legal advice. It is not financial advice. It is not tax advice. It is not therapy or counselling.

The figures, frameworks, and suggestions in Atlas are a starting point for your own thinking. For decisions involving family law, taxation, child support assessment, separation agreements, mortgages, superannuation, mental health, or any other regulated matter, speak to a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.

The Australian Child Support calculations in Atlas use formulas published by Services Australia and are intended as estimates only. The official assessment from Services Australia is the only figure that legally applies to you.

Use at your own risk

Atlas is provided "as is", with no warranties of any kind. Johnnie Crawford and any contributors are not liable for any decision you make, action you take, or outcome that results from using the tool. You are responsible for verifying any number, plan, or assumption before acting on it.

What you can and can't do

You can use Atlas for personal purposes. You can share the URL with anyone you think it might help. You can quote articles from the Atlas blog with attribution.

You should not republish entire articles without permission, attempt to reverse-engineer or modify the tool's underlying code without permission, or use the Atlas brand or visual identity to suggest endorsement of another product or service.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change from time to time. The current version is always at this URL. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for a reasonable period.
